RED REIGN @ Millennium Music Conference this weekend, Feb 24!!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

RED REIGN SET TO PERFORM MATERIAL FROM NEW DAVID IVORY PRODUCED E.P AT MILLENNIUM MUSIC CONFERENCE

The Virginia-based quartet, Red Reign, is making a name for themselves by using the style of such vintage hard rock acts as Van Halen, Dokken, Queensryche, and Aerosmith as a launching pad for their own sound. And rockers in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania will soon be able to catch the band on a nearby stage. On Friday, February 24th (at 11:45 P.M), Red Reign will be performing at Stage On Herr @ HMAC, as part of FlexiTone Records’ Showcase at the Millennium Music Conference.

“Red Reign is extremely excited to be to playing The Millennium Music Conference,” says singer/guitarist Carlton “Bubba” McMichael. “We look forward to bringing our live show to the Flexitone Records showcase on Friday, February 24th.”

“This is going to be a fun show for us,” adds drummer Sammy Lee, “To be able to play in front of people in the industry, fans and meet many bands from other locations will be a great experience.” Also rounding out the group are bassist Larry Moore and lead guitarist Stevie Shred.

The group’s follow-up to their debut full-length (‘Chasing Shadows’) is a self-titled EP, that is being overseen by Grammy-nominated producer, David Ivory (Halestorm, Roots, Silvertide). “After signing with Chipster PR, we were directed to David Ivory, to help with the rewriting and rearrangement of songs for our upcoming CD,” explains Sammy. “David made the songs flow better rhythmically and brought in fresh ideas, to build on the original foundation of the songs. He also brought a different vision of how the songs were played, to put the band in more of a mainstream direction.” The EP can be purchased here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/red-reign-ep/id1183635946

One of the EP’s standout tracks is the “Not That Way” (which will be performed at the upcoming show), which the band’s McMichael describes as “one of those songs that is about a love gone bad and then the girl realizes she made a mistake in our relationship and wants to get back into the same relationship she poisoned. But the guy has gotten over her and moved on.” A lyric video for the track can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bObJneh54U

Other tracks include “Chains” (“About the feelings of being held back and looking for that escape”), “Toxic” (“The feeling of hopelessness in a relationship”), “Red Reign” (“The anger side of a relationship”), and “What is Love For” (“About you pouring yourself into a relationship, knowing it’s not going to go far”).

Shortly, Red Reign will be taking it to the stage, as part of the Millennium Music Conference.

Thank you Marcel!
Red Reign: Self Titled 2016 – 2017. Us Melodic Rock / Hard Rock band. The band got signed and their album is repressed for a better worldwide audience since they got signed recently. The band has a great potential and his already on top of the charts for their awesome album that reaches all the boundaries between rock and metal. A singer that has a melodic voice and awesome singing capabitilites brings the songs in higher range giving that album a lift in the air. A sound on their own we call originality making nearly impossible to classify such the influences varies among musical pleasure. At some point it make me think of Cock Robin who rocked the 80’s and sometimes the 7à’s with Van Halen jazy riffs grooving it all. Some solos will make you think of Dokken’s George Lynch, melodies from Whitelion, Warrant, Kings X, Poison, Motley Crue or even the Scorpions. Sometimes Heavy guitars bringing it a heavier touch kinda Hydrogyn.. well you will find your pleasure in that album such it has many ways of getting your attention and brings joy to your ears a brilliant album 100/100
